Measures for the employee against exposure to architectural asbestos

During the work

• If your superior notifies you that you must carry out work activities in a space where there is known to be bonded asbestos, ensure that you do not come into contact with the asbestos.
• If you unexpectedly encounter asbestos, asbestos-containing or suspected asbestos materials in buildings and installations, then stop your work activities, leave the space and arrange with your superior whether and if so, how, you can continue your working activities. 

In case of emergency

If an asbestos plate is unintentionally damaged:

• Stop your work activities immediately;
• Leave the space and seal it;
• Inform your supervisor and await further instructions.
