Measures for the employee against exposure to hazardous noise

Before you begin

• Check whether hearing protection is required at the work place:
  • as a result of noise from the environment (look out for the pictogram or the designation ‘Hearing Protection Zone)’ or
  • as a result of the work activities to be executed, or
  • if this is stated on (manual) tools.

During the work 

• Leave noise screens which have been installed to reduce the noise load in place.
• Use the hearing protection provided by the employer.
