Measures for the organisation against exposure to contaminated SF6 in event of emergency

• Provide information and instructions about working with SF6.
• Ensure that employees who recover SF6 from high voltage switches (from 1000 Volt AC), have an SF6 gas in HV installations diploma.  For more information about the exams see www.bepect.nl.
• Provide storage for the disposal of hazardous waste.
• In locations where there may be decomposition products, bags with activated aluminium can be used. The sacks can bind gaseous decomposition products and water.  The quantity of decomposition products can be reduced by 75-90%.
