Measures for the organisation against exposure to hazardous substances

• Seek less hazardous alternatives.
• Provide a register of hazardous substances (safety information sheets)
• Provide instruction and information about the use of hazardous substances and their dangers.
• Ensure that information about hazardous substances is available at the work place.
• Do not give the employee more hazardous substances than are necessary for 1 working day.
• Provide means by which residues, used materials and packaging can be removed as hazardous waste.
• Ensure that temporary and permanent storage fulfils the applicable regulations (PGS 15).
• Provide ventilation grilles and storage spaces in vehicles.
• When transporting large quantities take ADR into account. 
• Provide the proper personal protective equipment and supervise its appropriate use.
